Friday Volunteer Construction Team Leaders
- 2 Volunteers needed to head a Friday construction team
- Must understand construction management from preconstruction to approval
- Must be able to communicate with construction teams working on different days
- Must be able to delegate tasks, instruct other volunteers of varying skill levels, and work with all ages
- Must have a spirit of teamwork and patience to understand the complexities of combining construction, volunteerism, and weather
General ReStore Volunteers (Tuesday- Saturday)
- 9:30am-4pm (Shifts available)
- Assist customers purchase items
- Straight and monitor zones of store
- Assist with checkout
- Stock items on shelves
- Aid with intake and processing of donated materials
Reception Volunteer (Mondays- Friday)
- Once a week 9am-5pm (Split Shifts Available)
- Staff front desk
- Answer phones
- Greet visitors
- Assist with office projects
ReStore Pick-Up Assistants (Monday- Friday)
- Once a week commitment 9am-4pm
- Travel in Habitat Box Trucks to pick-up furniture, appliances, and building supply donations
- Be able to lifet 50 lbs
- Pass a background check
- Must be at least 18
Construction Team Assistants (T, W, TH, S)
- 8am-4pm
- Be able to lift up to 25 lbs
- Pass a background check.
- Drivers must be at least 21
- Possess a valid driver's license with clean driving record
ReStore Skilled Trade Assistants (Tuesday- Friday)
- Volunteers needed once a week 9:30am-4pm.
- Identify and sort donated Electrical, Plumbing, Nails/Screws, Door Hardware, and Tools
- Assess if donated materials are functional
- Make minor repairs
- Price items if possible
Fundraising Volunteers (Monday-Friday
- Once a week scheduled between 9am-5pm.
- Background in development and fundraising helpful
- Background in grant writing helpful
- Assist in raising funds to support Habitat
Construction Inventory Office Volunteer (Tuesday-Friday)
- Minimum of 2 hours, one day a week
- Scheduled between 10am-3pm
- Data entry is involed
- Manage materials and inventory
Warehouse Volunteers (Tuesday-Friday)
- One day a week scheduled between 9-3pm
- Assist Construction Manager sorting and moving materials
