Habitat's vision: A world where everyone has a decent place to live.

Celebrating Over 25 Years
of Revitalizing Cleveland Neighborhoods

Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity is helping more families by focusing resources, catalyzing targeted neighborhood stability and revitalization. We can build and pay for a new house for one family, or rehab 3-4 houses and provide affordable housing for more families for the same cost.

Our focus in 2015 is in the Stockyards neighborhood on Cleveland's Westside where we are rehabbing homes into safe and affordable dwellings for Habitat Partner Families. Habitat is always looking for volunteers to work on projects and in the ReStore, so be sure to check out our pages.

“We’ve moved from building houses to building communities."

Mission Statement

Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity, a Christian-based organization, develops opportunities for all of God's people to act out their faith. By working in partnerships to eliminate substandard housing, we enable families and volunteers to improve lives. We create hope by building homes, strengthening neighborhoods and reweaving communities.
